Dealing with bereavement | Probate Law | Jobling & Knape Lancashire UK

Legal information on dealing with bereavement

If a member of your family has recently died then Jobling & Knape are able to help you deal with the formalities to sort out their affairs. When a person dies leaving more than £5,000, a document called a "Grant" will have to be obtained from the Probate Registry. If the person has left a Will, a Grant of Probate is required. If there is no Will then a Grant of Letters of Administration is needed.  We give advice on reducing your Inheritance Tax Liability - minimising the Government's bite of your inheritance - through your Will and actions that can be taken now.

Our experienced Probate Practitioners will also give practical advice on all other matters that need to be dealt with at this time.
